Pretty interesting but unusual.
On September 2nd, a woman in Northern California named Debbie Payne heard a loud crash. It was loud enough for her neighbors to come over and see if everything was alright. Payne reported that it was her neighbor who noticed a broken Canon 24-105L on the ground.
The lens managed to cause $4,500 in damages. At least nobody got hurt.
